Kalahari
The tent houses of Teufelskrallen Lodge are located on the first
western Kalahari dune and offer its guests a panoramic view over the endless vastness and the sprawling Kalahari dunes. The fully-furnished and comfortably-equipped tent houses come with a large view deck and their own bathroom. Each bathroom is connected to the tent by a short boardwalk. Reception, restaurant and swimming pool are located in the old farmhouse at a distance of 3km from the tents. During hikes and game drives, guests can experience the breathtaking beauty of the Kalahari with the 30m dunes and the rich wildlife stock.
The 6 tented houses are built on the crest of the westernmost Kalahari dune and are pleasantly spaced apart. The view over the savannah makes the sunset on the distant horizon special. The bathroom is reached via a footbridge in each case.
The restaurant, with beautiful garden and pool area, is about 3 km away.
Reception, swimming pool, restaurant as well as the lobby with free-of-charge internet access are located in an old farm house 3 km from the site, in the middle of an oasis-like garden with lots of shady spots. Enjoy breakfast and dinner in the old farm house. Relax at the pool in the tropical gardens or order a cool drink and find a shady spot underneath mighty trees.
