Ondili – Rain in the Erongo Mountains

Finally, it is raining. Desiccated soil, no grass, and the landscape seemed to consist exclusively of rocks – after waiting for what seemed to be an eternity it started raining at last. For four days, every afternoon saw a little bit of rain until a downpour on January 18 eventually brought 40mm of water and the river bed underneath the lodge got filled with water. The Hohenstein amidst rain, a very strong impression and rare photo experience.
